Sony lens technology cancels aberration: An innovative optical design that includes three aspherical elements corrects field curvature and aberration for outstanding resolution throughout the lens?s wide 15 mm field of view. One ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass element and one Super ED glass element further suppress chromatic aberration and effectively reduce peripheral colour fringing.
Breathtaking close-up bokeh: This lens?s 0.17 m minimum manual focus (0.2 m when using AF) and 0.15x maximum magnification (0.12x when using AF) let you get close to the subject while producing beautiful bokeh.
